**Job Summary**

The Swift Playground Content team is looking for someone who is interested in solving difficult problems, creating motivating content, and building a forward-thinking platform for education.



**Key Qualifications*** ?Strong knowledge of Swift and/or Objective-C design patterns

* ?Experience with iOS graphics frameworks (UIKit, SceneKit, SpriteKit, Metal, etc)

* ?Ability to understand and communicate complex 2D/3D concepts and rendering techniques

* ?Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and cross-functional skills

* ?Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with engineers and educators

* ?Passion for quality and attention to detail


**Description**

The Swift Playground Content team is responsible for the education content and curriculum found in the Swift Playgrounds app. This position will be focused on building and maintaining the rendering infrastructure that brings our content to life, as well as contributing to general platform enhancements. We are looking for a passionate engineer who is excited by the prospect of building a platform to enable educators, content creators, and learners to truly experience what it means to code. Qualified candidates are dedicated to the team's vision of creating high quality, motivational content and exploring innovative ideas around forwarding the use of technology to teach coding skills, concepts, and mental models. We desire people who are comfortable contributing to cross-functional efforts to define and scope content, ideation around educational objectives, and expanding integration and build system infrastructure.




**Education**

Minimum Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.


**Additional Requirements**

?Animation software (Maya, Blender) experience a plus
