What you’ll do

Job Summary

The Facilities Manager oversees all equipment-related aspects of the facility including all site facilities and manufacturing equipment, as well as managing the internal maintenance workforce to support preventive maintenance, production equipment breakdowns, and facility maintenance. The Facilities Manager also coordinates projects related to installing and upgrading equipment, work with contractors for upgrades and repair and, provide cost estimates for facility projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Manage 15 Union represented hourly employees; provide guidance, leadership, and annual performance evaluations.

* Manage facility projects for installing new equipment and upgrading existing equipment.

* Manage department budgets and project budgets and schedules.

* Maintain equipment uptime and PM program for the maintenance department and track efficiency.

* Work with production to upgrade equipment to peak operational performance.

* Work with maintenance to repair equipment during breakdowns and upgrades.

* Report daily facilities status to production managers and supervisors.

* Work with safety team to reduce/eliminate safety issues throughout plant

About you

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related discipline, OR equivalent additional experience and training required.

* 7+ years of management experience in a industrial manufacturing environment in a Manufacturing Maintenance/Facilities capacity.

* Experience with: general electrical maintenance, HVAC, compressors, clean rooms, and large-scale manufacturing equipment installation/repair or a combination thereof required.

* U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements.

Additional Qualifications

* Experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing preferred.

* Working knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred.

* Ability to estimate labor, material cost, and timelines for projects preferred.

* Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD programs preferred.

* Project management experience preferred.

* Computer skills such as MS Excel, Project and Word.

* Motivated, self-starter who is capable of managing multiple tasks while keeping projects on time and under budget.
