The Think Tank Team brings new business opportunities to Samsung through a unique mix of research, early product development, and encompassing approach. Our team members represent a diverse skillset, including electrical engineering, computer engineering, signal processing, machine learning, computer vision, visual design, interaction design, industrial design, mechanical engineering, optics, physics, and more. We are looking for engineers with a hands-on background in building physical prototypes to join our team. If you are passionate about inventing new devices; if you want to build mechanisms that baffle the eye; if one of your priorities in every project is to produce a smile when someone sees it work; then this position is perfect for you. You must be ready to learn on the fly, tackle hard challenges, work closely with others, and creatively approach mechanical and mechatronic design at all scales. **Necessary Skills / Attributes**
What you will do:
* Build prototypes of new devices, mechanisms, actuators, and products.
* Solve tough engineering problems working closely with fellow engineers, designers, and scientists from multiple fields.
* Learn continuously, and often about completely new and unexpected topics. What we are looking for in your prior projects:
* Experience in building mechanical and mechatronic systems.
* Hands-on expertise in the machine shop.
* Proof that you like to building things. Bonus points if other people have used what you built.
* Interest in diverse tools, technologies, and subject areas.
